What’s in the cup?

Everything you need for cereal, including the bowl, the spoon, apouch of purple sweet potato granola, and a pouch of oat mylk.All you need is water.

How do you measure thewater for the mylk?

After you empty the mylk powder into the cup, save the emptypouch! Fill the pouch with cold water to measure about 3 ouncesof water, then pour water into cup to mix.

What is in the mylk?

Our mylk is made with purple sweet potatoes and oat powder.

Is it gluten free?

Currently PURPO is wheat free. While we do not add gluteningredients, the current oats used are not gluten free certified.Stay tuned for the new formula that uses gluten free certifiedoats.

Is it organic?

No, but our goal is to use organic ingredients in the future.

Is it non-GMO?

Yes, we use non-GMO ingredients, however we are not certifiedat the present time.

Is it vegan?

Yes, it contains only plant based ingredients

Is it soy free?

Currently the source of lecithin is from soy, however the newformula will be absolutely soy free.

Is it nut free?

Besides coconut, it does not contain any nut ingredients but ifyou are allergic to almonds, please beware that the facility mayprocess almonds.

Is it sugar free?

Currently there is cane sugar in the product. In the new formula,this will be replaced with inulin, which is a type of soluble fiberthat is found in many plants (also considered as a prebiotic).

Is it corn free?

No. It contains non-GMO corn.

Is it glyphosate free?

While we have not tested the product, it has been reported thatmany non-organic oat products contain traces of glyphosate inthem. In our new formula, only organic oats will be used inresponse to the findings.

Is the packaging recyclable?

The paper cup and lid, foil pouches, and plastic spoon are allrecyclable in many cities. The current packaging was chosen tobest mix the product and to maintain freshness as we do notuse preservatives. However we strive to improve ourfriendliness to the environment whenever possible.

Can you use hot water?

While the product was designed to serve as a cold cereal,customers have told us they enjoy it just as much in a hotapplication. Note: do not pour hot water into the pouch!

Where is the product made?

PURPO is made in Taiwan, who are known for growing purplesweet potatoes. They’re also long-time users of oat mylkbeverages.

What if I want to eat PURPOgranola by itself?

We love the idea of eating PURPO at home. While we are stillworking on offering the granola in family size, coming thissummer the granola will be available in 1.34 oz pouches so youcan take them wherever you go for a quick snack, a cereal inyour own mylk, or to make your yummy desserts purple!

Are there other flavors?

Currently there is only the one flavor with plans to launchadditional ones in the future

How are they sold?

They are currently sold via our web store by the case packs of 2,8 and 24. Coming this summer, you will be able to order by theunit to create your customized snack box or by case. We are also available via Amazon.com.

Where can I find it in stores?

We are not in stores as we are very new to the market and haveplans to start in food service channels where customers need aplant based and tummy friendly snack on the spot.
